However, Google will previously reduce your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of Sorpetaler Fensterbau GmbH, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide Sorpetaler Fensterbau GmbH with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

6.2 GOOGLE ADWORDS CONVERSION TRACKING

This website also uses Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords sets a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be traced via the websites of Adwords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we will not receive any information that personally identifies users. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also reject the setting of a cookie required for this - for example using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the "www.googleadservices.com" domain. Google's privacy policy for conversion tracking can be found here.

However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=en. 6.8. USE OF THE FACEBOOK PLUGIN AND THE VISITOR ACTION PIXEL
The plugin of the social network www.facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, is integrated in a protected form on our website. You can recognize the Facebook plugin by the Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/ When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook "LikeButton" while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages on your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or of their use by Facebook. For more information, please see Facebook's Privacy Policy at http://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. Within our internet presence we use the "visitor action pixel" of Facebook Inc. It allows us to track the actions of users who have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, about which we inform you according to our level of knowledge. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook's Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can allow Facebook and its partners to serve ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes, and this consent may only be given by users over 13 years of age. If you are younger, please ask your legal guardian for advice and you agree to the use of the visitor promotion pixel. You can revoke this consent at any time.

6.9 HOTJAR
To continuously improve the user experience on our websites, we use the tool Hotjar (http://www.hotjar.com). All data collected by Hotjar is stored electronically in Ireland, Europe on the Amazon Web Services infrastructure, eu-west-1 Datacenter. Our application servers and database servers run in an Amazon VPC, Virtual Private Cloud. The database with visitor and usage data is only accessible from the application servers and no external sources may connect to the database.

Visitor Privacy: Hotjar assigns a unique user ID, UUID, to visitors to the site so that Hotjar can keep track of returning visitors without relying on personal information, such as their IP address.
IP addresses of visitors are always made anonymous before they are stored. We set the last octet of IPv4 addresses, all connections to Hotjar are made via IPv4 to 0 to ensure that the full IP address is never written to disk. For example, if a visitor's IP address is 1.2.3.4, it is stored as 1.2.3.0. The first three octets of the IP address are only used to determine the geographical position of the visitor.
When collecting data with recordings, Hotjar automatically suppresses keystroke data in password fields and when we find that a credit card number is entered into an input field. We also offer the possibility to manually suppress data for certain input fields or HTML elements. In both cases the data is suppressed on the client side, i.e. in the visitor's browser, i.e. it never reaches our servers.

Further information can be found at: https://help.hotjar.com/hc/en-us/sections/115003180467-Privacy-Security-and-Operations
